The Green Bay Packers second pick in the first round will come very late, as they will pick in place of the New Orleans Saints, who made it to the NFC Championship Game last season. The Packers traded for this pick during the 2018 NFL Draft, and with the pick, they should continue to focus on the offensive side of the ball.

While the defense has gotten better this free agency period, the offensive line still needs work, and they could get a very versatile interior blocker at No. 30 overall. Chris Lindstrom is a player who can play both center, or guard at the next level, and this Packers offensive line needs all the depth they can get.

During his time at Boston College, Lindstrom established himself as a punishing blocker, and is someone who could come in and start right away in Green Bay. After taking a tight end at No. 12, that would mean the Packers would have spent both of their first round picks on the offense, which is sure to make Aaron Rodgers happy.

New head coach Matt LaFleur is an exciting addition to this organization, and someone who should be able to get the most out of this offense. This Packers team is not too far off from being a perennial playoff contender once again, and with a reloaded defense, and an offense stocked with  talent, they could find themselves back atop the NFC North in 2019.
