High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Joel Embiid (vs BOS – $10,000): Needs 48.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 78.75 fantasy points against Milwaukee. While the rest of the Sixers played on Tuesday, Embiid had the night off. He should be fresh against the Celtics, fresh enough to be stuffed in the clutch by Al Horford and Daniel Theis. Although Horford is questionable, which would certainly help Embiid. He had 50.5 fantasy points against them on Feb. 12 and 60.5 fantasy points against them on Christmas. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Nikola Vucevic (vs NO – $9,500): Needs 46 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 63 fantasy points against Atlanta. You typically know what you’re getting from Vucevic. He’s been a strong option all season and the Pelicans are a great matchup with their lack of defense and frontcourt. He had 56.75 fantasy points against them on Feb. 12 and should be in for another big night on Wednesday. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Lauri Markkanen (vs WAS – $7,100): Needs 34 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against Phoenix. Is Markkanen back in form after a game against the Suns? Well if anyone needs a game to get back into form, the Suns are obviously a great matchup. And so are the Wizards. He had 41.25 fantasy points against them on Feb. 9. I’m going to trust that he’s found his rhythm again and trust the matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
