High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Steven Adams (vs TOR – $5,600): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36 fantasy points against Miami. Adams had a strong game against Miami despite the foul trouble. He remains at a good salary given his usual minutes and opportunities. The return of Westbrook will hurt his rebounding numbers but the chances will continue to be there and Westbrook will look to keep him involved on offense. At least for a half. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Brook Lopez (at CLE – $5,400): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 56 fantasy points against LA Lakers. It’s a back-to-back for the Bucks and Lopez but that doesn’t really change anything. And it’s the Cavaliers. You just know what you’re getting from Lopez on most nights. He’s a boom or bust guy but it’s hard not seeing him booming against the Cavaliers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Joakim Noah (vs HOU – $5,100): Needs 24.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.5 fantasy points against Washington. Is Joakim Noah still the best center in the league? Yes, yes he is. The Rockets can be a brutal matchup because they’ll likely target him and Noah doesn’t move like he used to. But Noah has been playing too well as of late and I’m going to trust him to keep it up. You can also look towards Bam Adebayo at this price but the Spurs are a tough matchup as well. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
