High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Kyrie Irving (at PHI – $10,500): Needs 46.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 56 fantasy points against Denver. Kyrie has continued to roll for the Celtics and now he gets the Sixers on a back-to-back. Kyrie had 56 fantasy points against the Sixers on Christmas but didn’t play in the February matchup. It’s a big game, right? Then Kyrie will deliver. He always delivers in these big games and especially against a Sixers team that can’t buy a win against Boston. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Elfrid Payton (at ORL – $9,500): Needs 41.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.5 fantasy points against Dallas. I’m just going to assume that Elfrid Payton will continue to get a triple-double. His salary has jumped but I’m not concerned about that given his recent play. He’s bound to crash down at some point, right? Yes. But Wednesday won’t be that night. Not against the Magic, who Payton still has a little revenge to get on. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Eric Bledsoe (at CLE – $7,400): Needs 32.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.1 fantasy points against LA Lakers. It’s a back-to-back for the Bucks but they are up against the Cavaliers, so it doesn’t really count, right? I’m asking a lot of questions in these early slides. If Giannis doesn’t play, Bledsoe is slightly less reliable but has a higher ceiling just because he’s higher on the totem pole. It’s a good offensive player against the Cavaliers. Bet on the good offensive player. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
