High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Bradley Beal (at CHI – $10,300): Needs 42.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.4 fantasy points against Utah. Beal finally crashed out in his last game against the Jazz. But one bad game doesn’t ruin all the goodwill he’s built up this season. Especially against the Bulls. This should be an easy bounce-back game for Beal unless he’s decided to give up on the season because who could blame him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Luka Doncic (at POR – $9,900): Needs 41.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 60.6 fantasy points against New Orleans. Everything I said about Sexton on the previous slide pretty much applies to Luka. He’s been rolling lately and even though the Blazers are a tough matchup, I’m not in the business of doubting Luka, no matter what the matchup is. Trust Luka to deliver. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Donovan Mitchell (at NY – $8,800): Needs 36.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.2 fantasy points against Washington. The biggest concern here, and it’s a very big concern, is that this becomes a blowout and Mitchell won’t do enough to hit value. He’s going to get numbers even in limited minutes but the blowout fear is real. You can aim lower and go with Middleton who should get you value if nothing else. But Mitchell has the higher ceiling if this ends up being competitive. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
