High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Dwyane Wade (at SA – $5,800): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.3 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. It’s Wade’s last time in San Antonio (until the Finals) and he’ll look to put on a show against a team that brought him some joy but possibly more failure. Either way, Wade knows how to raise his game in this final push and he knows how to deliver in San Antonio. Especially if Kawhi isn’t there. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Terrence Ross (vs NO – $5,600): Needs 23.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 16.3 fantasy points against Atlanta. I was torn between Fournier and Ross but I settled on Ross because I flipped a coin. This matchup is too good for one, if not both, of them to deliver. Ross has been up-and-down in recent contests but he usually bounces back strong after a poor performance. He didn’t play well against the Pelicans on Feb. 12. Fournier shined in that game is you’re looking for some confidence in him. Flip your own coin. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Marcus Smart (at PHI – $5,200): Needs 21.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.3 fantasy points against Denver. Smart has settled at a great salary given his usual minutes and opportunities. Even though he hasn’t been great against the Sixers this season, they are on a back-to-back and Smart always finds a way to contribute in these games. This feels like a big Marcus Smart game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
