High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs MIA – $8,700): Needs 37.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.1 fantasy points against Golden State. Remember everything I said about Gay finding the soft spot in the zone and exploiting it? The role could go to LaMarcus Aldridge even more than Gay. Because LaMarcus Aldridge has never missed a midrange shot. One more time, Pop knows how to exploit the zone and he will exploit it in a big way in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Lauri Markkanen (vs WAS – $7,400): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.8 fantasy points against Phoenix. The hope is that Markkanen is back in rhythm after the game against the Suns, which is always a good game to get back into rhythm. And now he gets Washington, another easy matchup. I also like Pascal Siakam and Aaron Gordon if you want to spend a bit more. But Markkanen’s ceiling is just as high and he’s at a lower salary. And it’s the Wizards. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jayson Tatum (at PHI – $6,700): Needs 29.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.4 fantasy points against Denver. Tatum can be a bit all over the place but one team he always delivers against is the Sixers. He’s averaging 44.1 fantasy points in three games against the Sixers this season. You think he’s mad they passed him over in the draft? This is his matchup and until he has an off night again them, I will continue to trust him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
