VCU Rams – Boris Kodjoe

The Austrian born actor and model did not aspire of being a movie star when he was in college. Kodjoe (Class of ’96) came to Virginia Commonwealth on a tennis scholarship. The actor had dreams of being a professional tennis player until an injury derailed those plans. Kodjoe has made the right decision to enter acting and modeling. He is a current star of Real Husbands of Hollywood and is hoping his portrayal of OJ Simpson in an upcoming movie makes his Hollywood star bigger.

Virginia Tech Hokies- Hoda Kotb

Hoda Kotb (Class of ’86) is a news anchor. She is the co-host of the NBC’s The Today Show. The Today Show is the fifth longest-running show in American history. It has been on TV for a grand total of 68 years. She has been with The Today Show since 2008 and she used to co-host the fourth hour with Kathie Lee.

Washington Huskies – Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee (Class of ’65) is a master of the martial arts movies. Lee and his influence on culture will never be forgotten. The actor may be one of the more influential pop culture icons to be born in the 20th century. The martial artist passed away tragically in 1973 at the age of 32.
