6. Duke-Gonzaga, Final Four

The first of several appearances for Duke on this list comes here, as it would get a chance for a rematch with Gonzaga in the Final Four. These two teams already met once, with Gonzaga coming out on top in Maui back in November.

That loss was the only time all season Duke lost with its full complement of players. In the others, the Blue Devils were without some combination of Cam Reddish, Tre Jones and Zion Williamson. This makes the Bulldogs arguably the biggest threat to Duke’s national title hopes since they already know they can take Duke’s best shot and survive.

The Blue Devils have grown up considerably since that meeting in Maui, with Duke’s fabulous freshmen gaining a lot of experience over the course of the season. Gonzaga won’t be scared of this moment either, having made at least the Sweet 16 in each of the past five years, so the Bulldogs’ roster is battle tested.

The storylines in Minneapolis would be juicy too as Duke would have to spend the whole week answering questions about whether or not Gonzaga was in their heads. Any time you can get a look at Duke against someone who can beat them it’s worth the price of admission.
