Former Impact Knockout Allie signs with All Elite Wrestling

On the latest edition of AEW’s “Road to Double or Nothing,” the company announced the signing of former Impact Wrestling Knockout Allie. Is this the first of many to jump from Impact?
On Thursday, All Elite Wrestling launched their newest episode of “Road to Double or Nothing,” a weekly documentary-style look behind the scenes at AEW and the work that is involved leading up to their first show, Double or Nothing, on May 25 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Within the episode, they revealed the newest signing to their company: Allie, formerly with Impact Wrestling, is the newest member of AEW’s women’s division.
While some people might see this as just another signing to AEW’s ever-growing roster, there may be something deeper to look at here. That being the potential raid of talent of the Impact Wrestling roster could experience in the months to come.
The Knockouts Division, in particular, is loaded with talent at the moment ripe for the picking, including Kiera Hogan, Scarlett Bordeaux and current Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie. Not to mention, their roster also boasts three talents that competed at All In last September, Tessa Blanchard, Madison Rayne and Jordynne Grace. Those names alone being added to AEW’s women’s roster would set the division up for years to come.
Beyond just the Knockouts, Impact needs to worry about their men’s division as well. Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that former Impact Wrestling World Champion Eli Drake’s contract with the company is up between late April and early May. It’s reported that there is definitely interest in him elsewhere. He would be a great pickup for All Elite Wrestling leading into Double or Nothing.
Who from Impact’s roster would you like to see AEW sign? Is there someone on the independents currently that deserves that shot? Let us know by sounding off in the comments below.
