Players costing $6,250 or under

Tyus Jones (at CHA – $5,400): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.5 fantasy points against Golden State. No Teague and No Rose should mean more Tyus Jones. The minutes are going to be there and the matchup is better than it has been in the last couple of games. Due to circumstances, he’s going to be reliable if nothing else. But expect more with this matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Ricky Rubio (at ATL – $5,200): Needs 25.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.75 fantasy points against New York. Again, a back-to-back for the Jazz but a comfortable back-to-back. And Rubio has been playing well in the starting lineup for the Jazz. The assists will be there and he’ll chip in with enough points while also coming up with a couple of steals. You can always bet against the Hawks. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Ish Smith (at PHO – $4,100): Needs 19.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.5 fantasy points against Cleveland. Smith has played well in the last two games and now he gets the Suns. He typically gets decent enough minutes and he’s at a great salary based on his usual opportunities. And it’s the Suns. The defense won’t be there and Smith will carve up whatever they have on their second unit. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
