High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Kevin Durant (vs IND – $9,100): Needs 42.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.5 fantasy points against Minnesota. Durant hasn’t even been Warriors Durant in the last few games. Taking a step back is good for the Warriors offense but bad for his DFS value. He’s typically a reliable option and he’ll score better than he did against the Timberwolves. He’s going to get you numbers if nothing else but maybe slightly under value and his ceiling is more limited than you’d like at this price. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Buddy Hield (vs DAL – $7,000): Needs 32.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Hield has been up-and-down in his last six games. He was down against the Nets so if the trend holds, he should be up against the Mavericks. He never lacks for minutes or opportunities but he’s not shooting well right now and doesn’t quite do enough in other categories to boost his value. The matchup is good. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jeremy Lamb (vs MIN – $6,500): Needs 30.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.75 fantasy points against Philadelphia. It’s finally happened. Jeremy Lamb has become the best player in the league. Just as I predicted when he was drafted many years ago. I love his game right now and even though his salary has jumped, there aren’t many options at forward. The matchup is good and Lamb always brings it in March. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
