Players costing over $6,250

Blake Griffin (at PHO – $7,800): Needs 37.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39 fantasy points against Toronto. Blake should be plenty rested as he hasn’t played since Mar. 17. And now he gets the Suns. If he doesn’t come out on fire in this game then the Pistons have bigger issues. It’s the Suns. Griffin hasn’t been great in recent weeks but he’s still an All-Star player and it’s the Suns. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Paul Millsap (at WAS – $6,700): Needs 32 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against Boston. Millsap continues to play well for the Nuggets and as I’ve been saying since the break, this is a guy who knows how to raise his game for the stretch run. The Nuggets aren’t comfortable with just clinching a playoff spot. And now they get the Wizards, who are on a back-to-back. Millsap will keep it going. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Draymond Green (vs IND – $6,500): Needs 31 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39 fantasy points against Minnesota. Cousins is expected back in this game but I’m wondering if the Warriors just hold him out because why risk anything when you’re the Warriors? Green is all over the place but reliable for numbers simply due to the team he’s on. And if Cousins doesn’t play, that’s even better news for his value. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
