High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Dewayne Dedmon (vs UTA – $5,600): Needs 25 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.4 fantasy points against Houston. And while it’s a great night with high salary centers, it’s not quite so great at the value spot. Dedmon is coming off a tough game but the minutes will definitely be there against the Utah frontcourt and he had 37.4 fantasy points against the Jazz on Feb. 1 if you’re looking for some confidence in him. Diagnosis:

Willie Cauley-Stein (vs DAL – $5,500): Needs 24.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.3 fantasy points against Brooklyn. WCS’ minutes are down but he’s still making an impact in this limited minutes. And the matchup is great with the Mavericks being on a back-to-back and having a weak frontcourt. He had 31.1 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Dec. 16 and that’s when they had actual players in their frontcourt. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Mason Plumlee (at WAS – $4,700): Needs 21 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.4 fantasy points against Boston. Again, there aren’t many good depth options and Plumlee at least gets the minutes. And this one could get ugly, which would lead to more minutes for Plumlee. The Wizards have a fairly weak frontcourt and Plumlee plays on a good team and in a good system to where he can get his numbers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
