High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Russell Westbrook (at TOR – $10,800): Needs 52.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 66.75 fantasy points against Toronto. With Paul George struggling, Westbrook has had to carry the load. And we know Westbrook can carry the load. The offense is typically there for him unless he just fails to make a shot. But he’ll impact the game with his passing and rebounding. No Kyle Lowry certainly helps his cause as well. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Eric Bledsoe (vs MIA – $7,100): Needs 34.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.5 fantasy points against Cleveland. No Giannis means more Bledsoe. He’s a good 1B option next to Middleton and even though Miami can turn things into a slog, the Bucks offense is very good and Bledsoe is the leader of the group if Giannis is going to be out of the lineup. His ceiling is higher with Giannis out but more reliable with Giannis in. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Rajon Rondo (vs BKN – $6,400): Needs 31.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Chris Paul will likely be around value and Lou Williams has the Cavaliers, though I worry he won’t be needed as much in that game. Which is why I like Rondo. He’s been a fairly reliable option and he’s shown a high ceiling. And if LeBron doesn’t end up playing, someone has to run the offense for the Lakers. Rondo is typically good for numbers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
