High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Damyean Dotson (vs DEN – $5,500): Needs 25.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.75 fantasy points against Utah. I don’t like the Knicks. I don’t trust the Knicks. But if Dotson is going to get the minutes, he’s going to deliver at this salary. I just don’t know if he’ll get the minutes because you never know who is going to get the minutes for the Knicks. But the Nuggets are on a back-to-back so if Dotson gets the run, he’ll deliver. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (at CLE – $5,300): Needs 25.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.75 fantasy points against Indiana. I continue to love SAG’s game because he continues to produce. He’s at a very good salary given his usual minutes and opportunities and he does a bit of everything. He’s playing great right now and he’s up against the Cavaliers. You can typically count on guys against the Cavaliers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Gary Harris (at NY – $4,500): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.25 fantasy points against Washington. I told you prior to last game that Harris is starting to play himself into a rhythm and he ended up outperforming Barton against the Wizards. Sometimes I’m right. Harris remains at a good salary based on how he’s playing right now and he’s up against the Knicks. This should be an easy night for the Nuggets and could be a blowout but Harris’ salary makes him a good option even in a blowout. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
