High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Nikola Vucevic (vs MEM – $10,200): Needs 45.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.9 fantasy points against New Orleans. You typically know what you’re getting out of Vucevic but I’m not opposed to Jokic just because he has the Knicks. But like I’ve been saying throughout these slides, the Knicks matchup might be too good for the Nuggets and you need Jokic to have a big game at that salary. I know I’m getting a big game out of Vucevic at this salary because he’s been that good for most of the season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Clint Capela (vs SA – $8,200): Needs 36.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.5 fantasy points against Memphis. But Capela might be my preferred option over the two high salary guys because he finds a way to dominate the Spurs. He’s averaging 49.1 fantasy points in three games against the Spurs this season, including two games over 50 fantasy points. Granted, they haven’t met in 2019. Still, this is Capela’s matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jonas Valanciunas (at ORL – $7,700): Needs 34.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.5 fantasy points against Houston. Or you can go with Moose, who has been very good more often than not for the Grizzlies. The matchup is a good one for him but with Conley out of the lineup, a little extra attention will be paid to him and he loses his best pick-and-roll partner. Still, he should get you value if nothing else in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
