High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jarrett Allen (at LAL – $6,300): Needs 28 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.4 fantasy points against Sacramento. Allen can be all over the place because his minutes are all over the place. But the minutes should be there against a weak Lakers frontcourt. And if Allen gets around 30 minutes, he’ll be around 30 fantasy points. The value center spot is a mixed bag but at least Allen is one of the more reliable producers and has a great matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Mitchell Robinson (vs DEN – $5,700): Needs 25.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.9 fantasy points against Utah. Again, the value spot is a big mixed bag. If Robinson is going to get the minutes, he’s going to produce. But who knows with the Knicks. If you’re confident that he plays over 25 minutes, take him. If you’re not confident in that, don’t bother. I’m not fully confident, but I acknowledge his ceiling if you’re willing to take the risk. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a high ceiling.

Ante Zizic (vs LAC – $4,400): Needs 19.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Zizic is getting good minutes for the Cavaliers, though Tristan Thompson is back and he could start eating those minutes. Basically, take the Cavaliers forward that draws the start because I assume that’s the center that will draw more minutes. But who knows with the Cavaliers. You can always go with Zubac, whose minutes are a bit more guaranteed. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
