High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Collin Sexton (vs LAC – $6,300): Needs 28 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.9 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Sexton was down just a bit against the Bucks but I’m not too worried about him. He’s been playing well since the break and the Clippers style lends itself to plenty of offensive points. And if Kevin Love does indeed play, Sexton’s job becomes easier. He’ll bounce back over 30 fantasy points in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Fred VanVleet (vs OKC – $5,600): Needs 24.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. No Kyle Lowry means more FVV. He’s been great in the starting lineup for most of the season, averaging 29 fantasy points. And the Thunder defense is not very good right now, especially on the perimeter. VanVleet will continue to get his numbers in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (at CLE – $5,300): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.1 fantasy points against Indiana. SAG continues to play well for the Clippers, remains at a great salary, and now gets to face the Cavaliers. I love his game right now and until his salary jumps even higher or he shows that he can’t be trusted, you should continue to trust him. You can spend lower on Mudiay who gets his former team on a back-to-back. But you’re also putting your trust into the Knicks. And trusting the Knicks has been the death of many men. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
