FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 22, 2019
High Value PF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Jerami Grant (at TOR – $5,600): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.8 fantasy points against Toronto. Grant is coming off two strong games and the matchup remains the same. The minutes and opportunities are always there for him, which obviously helps. Grant has played well all season but as far as DFS goes, he’s been up-and-down. He’s up right now and he’s a guy who can step up, especially with the way Steven Adams has been playing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Kelly Olynyk (at MIL – $5,300): Needs 23 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 15.8 fantasy points against San Antonio. With Bam Adebayo listed as questionable, I pivot to Olynyk, who should see his minutes and opportunities increase. If Adebayo ends up playing, even though he’ll end up costing you more, you should go with him instead just because he’s the better player and you can make up the difference elsewhere. But if Adebayo is out, Olynyk should be in for a good night. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
PJ Tucker (vs SA – $4,700): Needs 20.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.6 fantasy points against Memphis. You typically know what you’re getting out of Tucker. The minutes are always there and he can do a bit of everything on most nights. He had 32.7 fantasy points against the Spurs on Dec. 22. He’s a guy who will just find a way to impact the game and this is a game he will likely find a way to make an impact in. Trust him to deliver in this matchup, especially at this salary. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
