High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Ricky Rubio (at CHI – $5,700): Needs 27.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.75 fantasy points against Atlanta. Rubio has been over 30 fantasy points in his last three games. He’s not playing huge minutes but he’s making the most of those minutes and has turned into the second most reliable option on the Jazz offense. His ceiling isn’t quite as high due to a lack of minutes but he’s found a nice rhythm and you can’t go wrong just grabbing a reliable guy who could surprise based on the matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Tyus Jones (at MEM – $5,600): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31 fantasy points against Charlotte. Due to the circumstances, Jones continues to get plenty of minutes for the Timberwolves. And he’s making the most of those minutes, producing some solid outings. Conley will be back for the Grizzlies, which will make life tougher on Jones but the Grizzlies are on a back-to-back and could have tired legs. It’s all about the circumstances and Jones will keep producing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Quinn Cook (vs DAL – $3,000): Needs 14.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 2 fantasy points against Indiana. Speaking of great circumstances. As long as Cook draws the start, you can take him. If he doesn’t start, his minutes aren’t quite as guaranteed. He averaged 25.1 fantasy points in place of Curry as the starter earlier this season. With Curry out, if Cook starts, he’s on too good of a team and haas too good of a matchup to pass up on as he’s proven he can step up in the starts role thanks to the guys he plays next to. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
