DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 23, 2019
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,250
Devin Booker (at SAC – $8,800): Needs 42.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.75 fantasy points against Detroit. Booker may have been down a tad against the Pistons but I’m not concerned. He’s still fantastic in the final third of the season and now he gets the Kings. The offense should be up in a big ways and Booker has proven to be a fantastic offensive player. In fact, he might be the best player on the court on Saturday. He’ll bounce back with a strong outing. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Buddy Hield (vs PHO – $7,400): Needs 34.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45 fantasy points against Dallas. Hield has been up-and-down in his last seven games. He was up against the Mavericks, so if the trend holds, he’ll be down in this one. But I expect him to break the trend because he’s up against the Suns. Who doesn’t play well against the Suns? Expect Hield to keep it going given the matchup and the Kings going down with a fight. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Klay Thompson (vs DAL – $7,400): Needs 34.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.5 fantasy points against Indiana. I absolutely love Thompson on Saturday. Not only has he been playing well as it is, but with no Steph Curry, Thompson becomes the second option instead of the third. The extra attention doesn’t really matter because you simply can’t pay attention to everyone on the Warriors, even with Curry out of the lineup. And the Mavericks just aren’t a very good team. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
