High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Kevin Durant (vs DAL – $9,100): Needs 42.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.25 fantasy points against Indiana. Durant has been down in a big way in recent contests, failing to crack 36 fantasy points in four straight and five of his last six. But no Steph Curry should mean big things for Durant. He’s proven that he can carry the Warriors offense in a big way with Curry out of the lineup and he’ll prove it once more in this game. The matchup and circumstances are great for him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Ben Simmons (at ATL – $8,300): Needs 39.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.5 fantasy points against Boston. This should be a huge game for Simmons. He’s a guy who doesn’t lack for numbers and this could end up being a triple-double for Simmons based on the matchup. Simmons had 67 fantasy points against the Hawks on Jan. 11, including a triple-double in that one. He missed a triple-double by one asset against the Hawks in October. I love this matchup for him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Tobias Harris (at ATL – $7,200): Needs 33.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36 fantasy points against Boston. You typically know what you’re getting out of Harris as a member of the Sixers and even though Jimmy Butler might have a slightly higher ceiling, Harris is the more reliable option of the two. Harris will egt you value if nothing else in this one but due to the matchup, you should expect a little more with his scoring. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
