High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kevin Durant (vs DAL – $9,600): Needs 39.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.6 fantasy points against Indiana. You typically know what you’re getting out of Durant and it’s even better news for Durant as Curry is out of the lineup. This is a night where Durant has a chance to overdeliver as there will be more shots and opportunities coming his way. I love Durant on Saturday just due to those circumstances and the fact that he’s a proven high ceiling guy with Curry out. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jabari Parker (vs MIA – $6,800): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 15.1 fantasy points against Denver. I’m going to assume the Denver game was based on his lack of defense and being on a back-to-back. But if his minutes are below 25, this salary is far too high for him on Saturday. Your high salary options are limited due to injuries but you have to be confident he’s going to play over 25 minutes. I think his minutes will bounce back, but proceed with caution. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Josh Richardson (at WAS – $6,300): Needs 26.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.1 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Richardson has been all over the place during this recent run but the minutes and opportunities are always there for him and it’s the Wizards. He’s also under the salary line and not even technically a high salary guy, which certainly helps. He had 32.5 fantasy points against the Wizards on Jan. 4 and has been over 32 fantasy points in all three games against them this season. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
