High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Draymond Green (vs DET – $6,000): Needs 28.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.25 fantasy points against Dallas. If anyone is going to rest for the Warriors, Green is my pick. But if he plays, he’s at a good salary given the team he’s on and he’ll be jazzed up to go against Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond. Of course, Draymond is always jazzed up in one way or another. He’s a mixed bag but the opportunities are always there. Again, don’t put stock into the Mavericks game. The Warriors will be angry. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

JaVale McGee (vs SAC – $5,600): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 72 fantasy points against Brooklyn. JaVale has been delivering here late in the season because no one puts up numbers on a bad team like JaVale McGee. The pace will be up and if LeBron plays, he’s actually developed enough chemistry with JaVale that may actually keep JaVale around next season, which would be hilarious. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Willie Cauley-Stein (at LAL – $5,500): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 7.5 fantasy points against Phoenix. While JaVale has been good offensively, he’s still JaVale on defense. And WCS can take advantage of that. He’s averaging 34.7 fantasy points in three games against the Lakers this season. Even in limited minutes, he’s going to put up numbers in this matchup. The lack of production against the Suns is concerning, but it’s tough to pass up on this matchup against the Lakers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
