DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 24, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
DeMar DeRozan (at BOS – $7,800): Needs 36.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39 fantasy points against Houston. You sort of know what you’re getting from DeRozan right now. He’s not scoring the ball well but he’s the primary playmaker and they’ve schemed to get him more rebounds. The scoring will come along at some point, and a back-to-back against Boston is certainly a good place to start. He had 39.75 fantasy points against the Celtics on Dec. 31 when he only scored 13 points. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Buddy Hield (at LAL – $7,100): Needs 33 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42 fantasy points against Phoenix. Hield broke his up-and-down trend with a good performance against the Suns, largely because they are the Suns. And now he and the Kings get the Lakers. The Kings are still alive and as I mentioned earlier, they want to rub salt in the Lakers wounds. Hield’s scoring will bounce back in this game and he’ll contribute in other areas for a strong outing. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Kyle Kuzma (vs SAC – $6,500): Needs 30 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.75 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Kuzma has settled into a nice spot but hasn’t flashed a high ceiling in quite some time. The Lakers are all over the place right now and Kuzma appears like he doesn’t care too much about playing well. He’ll get numbers and the matchup is great, but I don’t have a real read on the Lakers. But if LeBron sits, someone has to get numbers for the Lakers and Kuzma is the best option. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
