High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jaylen Brown (vs SA – $4,300): Needs 20 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48 fantasy points against Charlotte. It’s a back-to-back for the Celtics but with Tatum out of the lineup, Brown should see more minutes and opportunities. You can also look for Marcus Morris to possibly do more in this game. Brown has been all over the place this season but he’s coming off a great performance against the Hornets, and the circumstances are good for him if Tatum doesn’t play. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Harrison Barnes (at LAL – $5,400): Needs 25 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38 fantasy points against Phoenix. Barnes has been all over the place as a member of the Kings, but he’s coming off a strong shooting game against the Suns (I know, it’s the Suns) and now has a good chance to have a strong shooting game against the Lakers. I’m all for stacking Kings against the Lakers because you should take advantage of this Lakers squad, especially with LeBron likely being on a minutes restriction. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

PJ Tucker (at NO – $4,100): Needs 18.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19 fantasy points against San Antonio. Tucker is a “sort of boom” or “definitely bust” kind of player. The big games are few and far between, but he has some solid outings. And I really like this matchup for him. He’s averaging 26.7 fantasy points in three games against the Pelicans this season. It just seems to be his matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
