High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

LeBron James (vs SAC – $10,100): Needs 46.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 59.25 fantasy points against Brooklyn. LeBron’s minutes were supposed to be managed and then he’s playing 37 minutes against the Nets just to show D’Angelo Russell is better. Who knows with LeBron and the Lakers. The matchup is great and he’ll get numbers by the sheer fact that he’s LeBron James and he’s the best player on the court. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Julius Randle (vs HOU – $8,100): Needs 38.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 9.75 fantasy points against Orlando. Again, I’m going to chalk up the game against the Magic as just an off night for everyone in the Pelicans’ starting lineup and expect them to be better against the Rockets. They’re at home and the Rockets defense isn’t good. Randle had 48.75 fantasy points against them on Dec. 29. Holiday is still out, meaning Randle is the best player on the floor for the Pelicans. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Marvin Bagley III (at LAL – $6,900): Needs 32.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.75 fantasy points against Phoenix. I’m going to trust MB3 until he gives me a reason not to trust him. He’s playing excellent right now, the minutes are there and he’s a big spark for the Kings. The Lakers are an easy matchup with their weak frontcourt, and MB3 will continue to have big outings. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
