Players costing $6,667 or under

Willie Cauley-Stein (at LAL – $6,600): Needs 29.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 8.5 fantasy points against Phoenix. It was a rough outing for WCS against the Suns, but I have to trust him against the Lakers. It’d be nicer if his salary was down a bit, but he has a high ceiling, especially against this team, and it’s a weak group when it comes to value centers. He’s a slight risk based on his performance against the Suns, but he was playing well prior to that. And it’s the Lakers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

JaVale McGee (vs SAC – $6,300): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 75 fantasy points against Brooklyn. JaVale McGee is the best center in the league again. He started the season as the best center, and he’ll end the season as the best center. We’ll just ignore that middle part when LeBron was playing the five. The matchup is great for him, and he and LeBron have developed a nice chemistry with each other. The minutes are there because the Lakers traded their actual center of the future. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Thon Maker (at GS – $4,200): Needs 18.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 11.4 fantasy points against Portland. I’m not a fan of anyone below McGee, so go big or dead at the position and get the score dropped. Maker was playing well prior to the game against the Blazers and he’s getting decent minutes. The Warriors will be better on Sunday, but just in case they are lacking energy, Maker can hurt them in a big way coming off the bench. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
