High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Kyle Kuzma (vs SAC – $6,000): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Kuzma has settled into a nice spot and his salary has dropped, making him easier to fit into your lineup. The matchup is a good one and if the Lakers decide to limit LeBron’s minutes, that will certainly help Kuzma’s value. Even if LeBron plays over 35 minutes, Kuzma should still have plenty of success against this matchup. He had 35.8 fantasy points against the Kings on Dec. 30 and 43.8 fantasy points against them on Dec. 27. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Marcus Morris (vs SA – $5,100): Needs 22 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.8 fantasy points against Charlotte. No Jayson Tatum should mean a bigger role for Morris. We know he has a high ceiling and he typically plays much better at home. The Spurs will be a tough matchup but Morris will be needed to do battle with Gay and Aldridge. The circumstances are good for Morris to deliver in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

PJ Tucker (at NO – $4,500): Needs 19.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20 fantasy points against San Antonio. You sort of know what you’re getting from Tucker at this point as he’s typically going to hang around 20 fantasy points. His ceiling is slightly higher and the minutes are certainly there, but he just is who he is. The Pelicans have been a good matchup for him this year, as he’s averaging 28.1 fantasy points in three games against them. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
