High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Terrence Ross (vs PHI – $5,200): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.75 fantasy points against Memphis. Ross can be hit or miss but he’s been hitting in the last couple of games and has played fairly well against the Sixers this season, averaging 27.1 fantasy points in two games. He can be boom-or-bust but I’m going to trust him to at least be at value in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Mikal Bridges (at UTA – $5,100): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28 fantasy points against Sacramento. Bridges is making the most of his opportunities with the injuries to guys like Jackson. It’s possible Jackson is back in the lineup in this one and if he is, that’s going to hurt Bridges. But if Jackson is out and Bridges starts, you can take him with confidence because he’s at a good salary given his usual minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Seth Curry (vs BKN – $3,800): Needs 18.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.25 fantasy points against Detroit. Seth Curry has been the one who has stepped up with McCollum out of the lineup. He’s playing plenty of minutes, getting the opportunities and he’s a Curry so he knows how to score the basketball. The pace will be up and Curry will benefit in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
