DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 25, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
Ben Simmons (at ORL – $8,400): Needs 39.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53 fantasy points against Atlanta. Simmons can be a mixed bag but he has a high ceiling and is always a triple-double threat. He had 50.75 fantasy points against the Suns on Mar. 5. He’ll get his numbers and should be at value if nothing else. I don’t have a great feeling about him but I like his salary compared to Embiid. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Jimmy Butler (at ORL – $7,400): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44 fantasy points against Atlanta. Butler has been over 44 fantasy points in four of his last five games. Has he found his rhythm with the Sixers? Finally? Who knows. Jimmy Butler is a weird dude and the Sixers are a weird team. But the matchup is good and I’m going to trust Butler too keep this run going. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Joe Ingles (vs PHO – $6,000): Needs 27.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29 fantasy points against Chicago. We’re dipping below the salary line in order to preserve the power forward position. Ingles has been great in recent games, going over 28 fantasy points in six of his last seven games. Even in limited minutes, he’s been putting up strong numbers. And now he gets the Suns. This should be an easy night for Ingles. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
