High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Devin Booker (at UTA – $9,300): Needs 39.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.4 fantasy points against Sacramento. As expected, Booker bounced back against a great matchup in the Kings. The Jazz are a much tougher matchup but I continue to lost post-All-Star break Devin Booker just because he always seems to put up big numbers with no pressure on him. The matchup is tough but he had 39.8 fantasy points against the Jazz on Mar. 13, which should be a confidence boost. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

D’Angelo Russell (at POR – $9,100): Needs 38.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.9 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Russell has really turned things around on this road trip and even though this is a tough matchup, your shooting guard options are limited and Russel has a high ceiling. He wasn’t good when these two teams met in February which is slightly concerning. You can spend less and grab Donovan Mitchell but that matchup might be too good. Mitchell is the more reliable player, Russell has the higher ceiling. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jimmy Butler (at ORL – $8,800): Needs 37 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.2 fantasy points against Atlanta. Has Jimmy Butler come around for the Sixers? He’s been over 45 fantasy points in four of his last five games. This is how good Butler will need to be in the playoffs and it’s nice of him to get an early start. Again, Mitchell is probably the more reliable player even at a slightly higher cost, but Butler has the higher ceiling based on the matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
