4. Quinnen Williams

Quinnen Williams is another prospect who could easily hear his name called before the Jaguars get the chance to make their first selection. However, expect Jacksonville’s front office to sprint to the podium if the former Alabama star falls this far.

Remember, the Jaguars cut Malik Jackson earlier this offseason and Marcell Dareus restructured his deal to allow him to extend his stay with the team one additional season. Unless the organization really believes in Abry Jones to step in and be a long-term starter at defensive tackle, they need to find a quality option in the draft.

Williams would provide the team with a player who should be a Week 1 starter. He may never develop into an elite pass rusher, but he can make plays in the opposing backfield. After all, Williams managed to rack up 18.5 tackles for loss last season for the Crimson Tide.

Unlike the situation with Allen’s spot in the outside linebacker group, Williams isn’t the only interior defensive lineman worthy of taking at this spot in the draft. The drop off from Williams to some others on this list is relatively small.
