Players costing $6,250 or under

Marc Gasol (vs CHI – $6,000): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.5 fantasy points against Charlotte. Gasol has been all over the place as a member of the Raptors but he’s coming off a strong game and he gets the Bulls on Tuesday. Even in limited minutes, he should be able to do enough damage in this matchup. Again, the Raptors should be able to work on things in this game and Gasol is a thing they need to work on. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Willie Cauley-Stein (at DAL – $5,700): Needs 27.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.75 fantasy points against LA Lakers. WCS played limited minutes against the Mavericks but still delivered a strong outing. He had 42 fantasy points against the Mavericks less than a week ago. The Mavericks just have no frontcourt and WCS can take advantage of them in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Thomas Bryant (at LAL – $5,200): Needs 24.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.25 fantasy points against Miami. As long as Bryant starts, you can take him with confidence. He’s played well in his recent starts and if he starts, the minutes should be there. And it’s the Lakers. Neither team offers much and who knows what the effort will be like but Bryant is playing for next season and he continues to play well. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
