44. . Defensive Lineman. Michigan. Rashan Gary. 14. player

The Atlanta Falcons were a pretty disappointing team in 2018, as they failed to make the playoffs only two years removed from going to the Super Bowl. The loss of Devonta Freeman on the offense really hurt them, and heading into next season, they have a lot of questions to be answered on both sides of the ball.

One of the bigger questions is what is happening to Vic Beasley Jr., who was once considered one of the elite edge rushers in football. Beasley has mustered only five sacks over the last two seasons, and many wonder whether or not he is still one of the elite players at his position in this league anymore.

With the No. 14 overall pick in April, Atlanta should look to add someone to that defensive line, and Rashan Gary from Michigan is one of the more versatile defensive linemen available. At the NFL level, he could play inside, or out, and has that uncanny ability to get after the quarterback, which the Falcons need.

The NFC South is going to be loaded again in 2019, as three of the four teams have made it to the playoffs over the last two seasons. Adding a talent like Gary this late in round one would be a solid get for the Falcons, who need to be better at getting after the quarterback, especially in a division that features Drew Brees and Cam Newton.
