30. . Edge. Kentucky. Josh Allen. 3. player

The New York Jets have been one of the more active teams in free agency this offseason, bringing in the kind of players who can change the face of their franchise. On the defensive side of the ball, they handed out a ton of money to inside linebacker C.J. Mosley, who was the best player at his position available this offseason.

On offense, they added arguably the best all-purpose back in the game in Le’Veon Bell, who should be fresh after sitting out the entire 2018 NFL season. These Jets could actually put a winning team on the field in 2019, and with the No. 3 overall pick for the second straight year, they have the ability to add a player to one of their biggest weaknesses.

Josh Allen from Kentucky is a guy who can get the edge better than nearly every player in this draft class, and he has stated that he feels he is the best player available this April. Allen racked up 17 sacks during his final season with the Wildcats, capping off his college career with a dominating performance against Penn State in the bowl game.

New York got their quarterback in the 2018 NFL Draft, selecting USC signal-caller Sam Darnold at No. 3 overall. There is a chance they move out of the No. 3 spot this season, adding more draft capital, but if they do stay with a pick this high in the draft, Allen makes the most sense, especially with Nick Bosa off the board.
