Watch: Chris Paul crossed D.J. Wilson into oblivion

The Rockets’ Chris Paul may be getting up there in age, but he hasn’t lost a step, as evidenced by how he crossed the Bucks’ DJ Wilson off the Earth.

Chris Paul is getting up there in the age department.

He’s now 33-years young, and normally, basketball players who are reaching the halfway mark of their 30s tend to lose a step (you’re truly included). However, Paul has shown us that, not only can he stay durable in his 30s, but he can also still break the ankles of the poor souls who are tasked to guard him.

Add D.J. Wilson to the “Chris Paul ankle-breaker victim” list.

In an otherwise forgettable night for the Houston Rockets on a freezing Milwaukee night, Paul managed to provide the highlight of the night at Fiserv Forum, at the expense of the second-year forward.

WIth James Harden setting a weak-but-effective screen, Wilson cleared it, but it was at this time when Paul was revving up the dribble, ready to send Wilson into basketball purgatory. Paul put the dribble on him, and all of a sudden, Wilson goes flying off the court, and off the screen.

Paul then steps back, pauses to reflect another one of his crossover victims, and buries a wide-open 3-pointer. Now, the other Bucks could have come and, at the very least, threw a flying hand in Paul’s face; but after witnessing one of their own just go flying into the third row behind the basket, Wilson’s teammates wanted no part of that embarrassment.

While the Bucks went on to win the game with ease, it was yet more proof that Paul doesn’t have any plans to retire from putting his defenders on Sportscenter or keep me from writing about their embarrassing attempts to defend the indefensible.
