High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Rudy Gobert (vs LAL – $8,200): Needs 39.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.5 fantasy points against Phoenix. Even in limited minutes, Gobert should have no issue getting his numbers against the Lakers and their weak frontcourt. He’s at a good salary as well as it hasn’t jumped despite it being a slow night and a great matchup. I love him on Wednesday night and am expecting a big performance out of him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jonas Valanciunas (vs GS – $7,700): Needs 36.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Valanciunas has been fantastic for the Grizzlies since the trade and even though the Warriors can lock in defensively, this probably won’t be the matchup that they do it. It’s not like Cousins is some great defensive player. Valanciunas should be able to get his numbers once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Deandre Ayton (vs WAS – $6,800): Needs 32.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.25 fantasy points against Utah. It’s the Devin Booker show in Phoenix which will take away from Ayton overall. But the matchup is great. Ayton had 52.75 fantasy points against the Wizards on Dec. 22. But again, if Booker decides he’s going to chase his numbers, there’s not much Ayton can do in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
