DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 27, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Damian Lillard (at CHI – $10,300): Needs 49.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 62 fantasy points against Brooklyn. I’m going to try not to repeat myself with the Blazers throughout these slides. I will definitely repeat myself. I don’t know what you’re getting from the Blazers. They just watched one of their top players suffer a gruesome leg injury and now have to play basketball 48 hours later. Losing Nurkic is not only going to change their identity as a team, but it’s also going to hurt their mindset. But maybe they rally around him and deliver in this game. The matchup is certainly good. Lillard ceiling is high. But he could easily bottom out just due to the circumstances. You can always go with Westbrook, who is just as inconsistent for other reasons. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Devin Booker (vs WAS – $9,200): Needs 43.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 71.5 fantasy points against Utah. I keep telling you about post-All-Star Booker and he keeps making me look good. And now he gets a Wizards team on a back-to-back. I will continue to love Booker during these final few weeks of the season because he’s proven that he’s the best player in the league in these meaningless games. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Stephen Curry (at MEM – $8,900): Needs 42.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.25 fantasy points against Detroit. You typically know what you’re getting out of Curry and if the Warriors decide to rest one of their starters, he’ll see more opportunities. The offense should be there even if their defense decides to not show up. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
