High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Kevin Durant (at MEM – $8,700): Needs 40.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.75 fantasy points against Detroit. Durant has struggled to reach value in the last couple of weeks but his salary has dropped and if the Warriors rest one of their stars, Durant will see more opportunities. Against this matchup, he should at least get you value. His ceiling is a bit limited just due to the team he’s on. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Bobby Portis (at PHO – $6,400): Needs 30.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.75 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Portis has been good in recent games and now he gets the Suns. It’s a back-to-back for the Wizards but this game should have plenty of offense given the state of both teams. Again, you can take LeBron in this position and if Lauri Markkanen ends up playing, I always like his ceiling. But Portis is a reliable option at a cheaper price. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Domantas Sabonis (at OKC – $6,300): Needs 29.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.25 fantasy points against Denver. Sabonis is a high ceiling guy but not always the most reliable option. He did have 42.75 fantasy points against the Thunder when they played on Mar. 14. The Thunder defense is a mess right now and Sabonis knows how to take advantage of them. Until I see the OKC defense play better, I’m going to trust that Sabonis will deliver. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
