FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 27, 2019
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,667
Devin Booker (vs WAS – $10,700): Needs 45.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 66.8 fantasy points against Utah. I keep telling you about post-All-Star break Booker and now the salary makers have caught on as he’s seen a big jump following his scoring output against the Jazz. Booker only cares about his scoring numbers, the Suns seem fine with that, and now they get the Wizards defense. Booker will deliver another huge outing in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Donovan Mitchell (vs LAL – $9,000): Needs 37.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.3 fantasy points against Phoenix. The concern for any Jazz game right now is that things end up being a blowout and Mitchell doesn’t get enough minutes to really deliver. And he needs to deliver at this salary. Bradley Beal has a great matchup against the Suns but he might be too gassed out to care at this point. Mitchell will at least carve up the Lakers defense for as long as he plays. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
Klay Thompson (at MEM – $7,900): Needs 33.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.4 fantasy points against Detroit. Klay has been down in his last two games and it’s a little concerning, but not too much because the Warriors are still the Warriors. And if the sit one of their stars — it could end up being Klay in this one — he’ll see increased opportunities. This feels like a game where Klay gets back on track and reminds everyone why the Warriors aren’t losing in the playoffs. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
