High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Derrick Favors (vs LAL – $7,400): Needs 31.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.1 fantasy points against Phoenix. Favors has been up-and-down in his last four games. He was up against the Suns, so if the trend holds, he’ll be down against the Lakers. He won’t be down against the Lakers. He had 35.1 fantasy points in 26 minutes against them on Jan. 11. Even in limited minutes, this should be an easy game for Favors, even at the highest salary among all power forward. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling

Draymond Green (at MEM – $6,800): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29 fantasy points against Detroit. Draymond hasn’t exactly been great in recent contests but it’s tough for him to go wrong given the team he plays for. This could be his game to rest, so check his status before making decisions. He’ll get decent enough numbers and the ceiling is relatively high. It’s always tough to go against any member of the Warriors. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Bobby Portis (at PHO – $6,500): Needs 27.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.4 fantasy points against LA Lakers. With Markkanen leaving the Raptors game early and being listed as questionable as of this writing, we move below the salary line and to Bobby Portis. It’s a back-to-back for the Wizards but they get the Lakers and Suns. Not the toughest of back-to-backs. Though they are also the Wizards. He seems to be a boom or bust player for the Wizards. But I’ll trust him against the Wizards. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
