FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 27, 2019
High Value PF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Kyle Kuzma (at UTA – $6,300): Needs 27 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.8 fantasy points against Washington. It’s a back-to-back for the Lakers and the Jazz are a tough matchup. But the Lakers probably won’t have much scoring help if LeBron James ends up sitting and someone has to get numbers for this squad. Kuzma is the best option. I’m not in love with him but it’s a slow night and Kuzma does have a nigh ceiling given the circumstances. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
Domantas Sabonis (at OKC – $6,300): Needs 27 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.6 fantasy points against Denver. Sabonis has been up-and-down in recent games but he was up against the Nuggets and had 43.4 fantasy points against the Thunder on Mar. 14. Again, I don’t trust the Thunder defense. And even though everyone knows Sabonis is going left and he played with Jerami Grant and Steven Adams, no one can seem to stop him. So I’ll trust that he’ll put up strong numbers once again. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Zach Collins (at CHI – $4,800): Needs 20.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.8 fantasy points against Brooklyn. With Nurkic out, Collins should get more minutes as the center of the Blazers. Maybe. You never know with these things until you see them in practice. But he’s at a good salary given the minutes he should get. And if he does end up playing over 20 minutes, this will be an easy matchup for him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
