Round 4 – Pick 108

Miles Boykin, WR, Notre Dame

The trade of Odell Beckham opens a massive hole at outside receiver for the Giants. As it stands Golden Tate and Sterling Shepherd are the top two passing options for the offense. Both players are better served inside than on the boundary. New York needs to find a receiver with size that can win one-on-one outside the formation.

Miles Boykin projects as that type of receiver. An impressive combine has pushed Boykin up the board. It is rare to see someone his size running that fast. The 6-foot-3 Boykin clocked in at 4.42 40-yard dash. He also showed off impressive change of direction skills with great agility drill times. Boykin still struggles on tape putting that athleticism to good use but he’s got all the traits. His high point ability in contested catch situations should give him a role in the offense as the rest of his game rounds out.

Round 4 – Pick 132

Kinglsey Keke, DT, Texas A&M

David Gettleman will not get out of this draft without selecting a defensive tackle. It may be the strongest position on the team, but that will not stop him. One specific type of defensive tackle would be a good addition. A defensive tackle that can penetrate and provide pass rush reps. Right now the duo of Dalvin Tomlinson and B.J. Hill are a very good duo. Tomlinson however is more of a run-stuffing, two-down player.

Texas A&M’s Kingsley Keke is a defensive tackle that can provide Tomlinson relief on long and late downs. A very active interior pass rusher who shows excellent quickness and bend, Keke is an interesting evaluation. There is a lot to like but he leaves a lot to be desired as well. This is the right range and a place where he can grow and provide value. Keke is not a complete prospect but fits the bill for what this team is lacking.
