WWE 205 Live recap for March 26, 2019: Cedric Alexander vs Ariya Daivari
The road to WrestleMania gets bumpy
Buddy Murphy is spotted at the Performance Center talking to a camera about being away from tonight’s 205 Live. Murphy claims that last week’s attack was not to hurt Tony Nese but to wake him up for the match he is in store for. The Cruiserweight Champion says he wanted to show that Nese is always two steps behind him.
Murphy also calls Nese the blueprint of everything a cruiserweight should be, but that Murphy is a hybrid athlete on the next level. Nese is spotted behind Murphy in the Performance Center and attacks him.
The two have an intense brawl in the locker room area. Performance Center coach Norman Smiley and some of the trainees break them up. Nese shouts that Murphy was nothing in WWE before Nese brought him to 205 Live.
