High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Collin Sexton (at SA – $5,900): Needs 28.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32 fantasy points against Boston. Sexton won’t win Rookie of the Year but he’s proven to be a good NBA player and is playing very well down the stretch in these meaningless games. The Spurs are a tough matchup, especially at home, but I like Sexton’s game right now and someone has to get numbers for the Cavaliers. He’s been their strongest option. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Emmanuel Mudiay (vs TOR – $5,700): Needs 27.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.5 fantasy points against LA Clippers. You never quite know what you’re going to get out of the Knicks because their rotations can be all over the place. But Mudiay is a guy who is getting big minutes right now and he’s always been able to carry the offense. The Raptors are good, but don’t have much reason to give a full effort in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

D.J. Augustin (at DET – $5,200): Needs 25.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.5 fantasy points against Miami. Augustin always seems to deliver when he gets the minutes and he’s been over 29 fantasy points in six of his last seven. His only down game was a blowout against the Sixers. The Pistons will make it competitive and Augustin typically plays well against them, averaging 35.2 fantasy points in three games against Detroit this season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
