High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

D’Angelo Russell (at PHI – $9,500): Needs 40.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 58.8 fantasy points against Portland. I love Russell in this game because the Sixers defense is a mess and Russell has all the talent to carve them up. Whether it’s with his shooting or his passing, he should be able to put up big numbers against a Sixers defense that just doesn’t have it right now. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Buddy Hield (at NO – $7,400): Needs 31.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.5 fantasy points against Dallas. Like I said with Fox, the Kings are going to go down swinging and they have a great matchup to swing on because the Pelicans are banged up and are just not very good. Hield is playing well right now and he typically raises his game against his former team. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Lou Williams (at MIL – $7,300): Needs 30.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.3 fantasy points against Minnesota. Williams can miss out on value and his lack of minutes can be concerning but overall he’s in a great position. He has a high ceiling and they are going to need his scoring against this matchup. And if Beverley doesn’t play, more playmaking will fall on the shoulders of Williams. I trust him to step up in this spot. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
