High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Dwyane Wade (vs DAL – $5,800): Needs 24.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.9 fantasy points against Orlando. Wade can be hit-and-miss but we know he has a high ceiling and we know that he’s going to go down swinging with Miami in what looks to be his final season. The Mavericks are not good a team and with the Heat fighting for their playoff lives, Wade is going to step up once again. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Pat Connaughton (vs LAC – $5,100): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.5 fantasy points against Houston. Connaughton is getting the minutes and opportunities and he’s producing in a big way right now. With the Bucks losing more players to injuries, the minutes and opportunities should continue to be there for him. And he plays in the right system to utilize his talent to the fullest. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Ian Clark (vs SAC – $4,500): Needs 19 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.9 fantasy points against Atlanta. This is all about the circumstances. If Holiday, Jackson, and Payton are all out of the Pelicans, someone has to step up in the New Orleans backcourt. And Clark is gonna have to be the guy who does it. Will he? I’m less sold on that. But it’s a great matchup for him and the minutes should be there in a big way with the injuries. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
