New York Yankees

The New York Yankees have one of the best lineups in all of baseball, led by Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge, who could logically combine for 100 home runs this season. Last year, Judge and Stanton went on a power tour in their first season together in the Bronx, leading the Yankees to a Wild Card spot, and nearly to the American League Championship Series.

As is the case every year, that was not good enough, and the team went out and solidified their bullpen this offseason, while adding James Paxton to the rotation. They are locked and loaded for another successful 162-game season this year, and the only question is how deep will this team go in the playoffs.

Best case scenario

When you play for the New York Yankees, you have one goal, and that is to win a championship. This team was built to do just that, and if they can stay healthy throughout the season, and guys like Gary Sanchez can turn things around, they could be raising their 28th championship in the Bronx this October.

Worst case scenario

The injury bug has already made it mark on the Bronx Bombers, as they will start the season without Luis Severino and Aaron Hicks to name a few. They had to win over 90 games just to make it to the playoffs as a Wild Card last season, and while they are super-talented, another Wild Card may be in the cards for the Yankees in 2019.
